Marilyn Manson - Putting Holes in Happiness 2007 05 22
I have been listening to this album for about 2 weeks and in my opinion, this is by far the best release from Brian Warner's rock band, Marilyn Manson. I like many of the songs, but this one is my favorite. I haven't been able to completely wrap my head around the true meaning of the song, but I assume it's largely about his recent breakup. "I should have picked a photograph, it lsated longer than you".

Another indie group with a similar sound to the Silversun Pickups, it's still unique and they have certainly made a sound of their own.

Second song from this album I have fallen in love with, these guys are getting a lot of play time right now.
Winterpills - Broken Arm 2007 04 17
Soft folkish lyrics and a smooth melodic hook had me instantly. This is a song off the self titled debut album, which is packed full of quality. There new album "The Light Divides" does not disapoint, be sure to look more into these guys if you like this song.
Sea Wolf - You're a Wolf 2007 04 17
What a cool and fun song! I don't know who Sea Wolf is, but it seems to be an amalgamation of several different artists, they have put together some great music though. I strongly suggest checking out more of their stuff.
Mason Proper - Miss Marylou Carreau 2007 04 13
I don't know what the deal is with this songs lyrics, they make no sense: "She bought a mug of bubbles from a bauble-hawker at the bazaar,/Supposedly an ex-czar from lands afar," But at any rate, it's a fun song and I quite enjoy it, have a listen!
The Broken West - Down in the Valley 2007 04 03
Another fairly new rock band formed in Los Angeles. Fun band and a fun sound, I think you can see them as they are touring with The Long Winters.
