Nicora.net re-launch 2006 07 13

I can't seem to stay happy with any release of this site. So in my free time for the last month I have worked on a new ColdFusion development platform. Last iteration used Fusebox 4.1 and there were just too many things that I didn't care for. I stuck with a Model Controller Viewer methodology, but was able to really simplify the aspects of development, at least as far as I'm concerned. The site heavily uses CFC's and has a built in cache system as well as numerous API's both in JavaScript and REST. Once the site starts to get spidered by Goole again, I'll implement the Google Search API. Which reminds me, I have begun using this platform to integrate Google Checkout, a brand new and slick merchant API that will most likely squash PayPal.

Once I get the documentation done for this platform I will release it as an open source project, but don't hold your breathe as I hate documenting and there is lots to do. If you are interested in taking a look at it and possibly contributing, send me an email or drop a note on this article. Any constructive criticism is welcome as well, I am limited to one QA person. Me. And being a programmer, I have a tendency to NOT break stuff, so I'm sure all you internet bug enthusiasts have your work cut out for you.

So please enjoy the site!
