My first book published, Columbia River Plateau Landscapes, is just a simple photo book with a small blurb about myself and the Columbia River Plateau. It's 44 pages full of the best landscapes I have taken over the past 3 years in the area. I used Blurb which is a company based out of Seattle WA.

Holding a finished book with your name on the cover is a truly amazing feeling; its one of those experiences everyone should have. As software people, designers, and publishing professionals at the top of our game, we realized something both incredible and obvious: theres no good reason why it should take tons of time, technical skills, big bucks, or friends in high places to publish a book. Or a zillion books, for that matter.
